In spaces designed by Ann Perry, beauty and aesthetic pleasure live happily with
comfort, warmth and function. Ann addresses each project individually, and doesn't believe in having a trademark
look. Rather, she designs a space to reflect the needs, style and personality of those who will inhabit the space.
Clients say Ann's strength, beyond her creativity and talent, lies in her ability to adapt to her clients' needs.
"I do have a style of my own, but I never impose it on my clients," explains Ann. "It 's far more important for me
to listen to them and pick up on their cues about what they want."
Ann has been an interior designer since 1985. After her children were born, Ann realized she wanted interior design
to be her profession, and furthered her education with a design degree. She grew up 20 miles north of Chicago, first
did design work in Denver then lived and worked in upstate New York for almost 10 years. In 1992, she moved west to Steamboat Springs, moved briefly to Denver, and is now back in Steamboat. Living and working in such diverse locales has enabled Ann to
be equally comfortable working in many different styles. Her projects have included everything from a cowboy inspired
design for a log home in Steamboat to a traditional, formal French home in Cherry Hills Village.
